CD Leganés presents its new second kit for the 2024/25 season thanks to Joma, its official technical sponsor. A shirt that takes us back to ten years ago, June 22, 2014, when the Pepinero club managed to be promoted to the Second Division thanks to a Chilean goal by Carlos Álvarez in L’Hospitalet.
The shirt has a design practically identical to that of that 2013/14 season, with a cucumber green color with which the club managed to return to professional football after a decade in Second Division ‘B’. And he did it after a playoff that culminated with the visit to La Feixa Llarga and a bicycle kick that changed the history of Leganés. Precisely the image of that iconic shot by Asturian striker Carlos Álvarez occupies the dark green stripe on the chest.
The elastic has the embroidered shield and also the image of the Chilean and the inscription “X Anniversary, 06-22-2014” in white in the lower right part of the front, and also presents darker green tones with details on the Round neck and sleeves with rib adjustment and on the side of the t-shirt. To present it, the club took Carlos Álvarez back to the La Feixa Llarga stadium in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat ten years after the day the promotion bicycle kick took place. The Asturian returned for the first time to the scene of his happiest moment as a footballer thanks also to the collaboration and willingness of CE L’Hospitalet.
